Avanthi’s St. Theressa Institute of engineering & technology is established in the the year 2001, with a vision “To be among most preferred premier Engineering colleges, for overall development of the student by means of Engineering education, integrity, Innovation & Social responsibility with ethical values. It is approved by AICTE & APSCHE and affiliated to JNTUK,Kakinada. This college is belongs to “Avanthi’s Group of Institutions” which has 29 years of excellence in the field of Education. St. Theressa Engineering College has good infrastructure, eminent faculty& lavish playground. St. Theressa engineering college provides the engineering education to many rural students, and has good connectivity with vizianagaram, srikakulam & Visakhapatnam.
Hence many students from these areas are uplifted their
carrier in the engineering by join in this college. Now in St. Theressa Engineering
college CSE, CSE-Artificial Intelligence, ECE, Mech & EEE courses are available in the
B.TECH level and in the M.Tech Power Electronics & Electrical Drives, VLSI & CSE and MBA
courses are available. All the Under graduate courses, post graduate and diploma courses
are approved by AICTE & State council of higher education andhrapradesh. To empower the
students after 10th class, Mech,EEE & ECE 3 years diploma course are available. All the
diploma courses are approved by SBTET, Andhrapradesh. College has good connectivity with
Govt. transportation facility, in addition to that college buses are run in and around the
college, upto 40Km radius.
For the long Distance students hostel facility is available
with adequate facilities. Student services, student Care, Services in medical emergency
are available in the campus 24X7. In our group a strong placement cell, this implements a
systematic strategy, for best placements to the students. We take care about English
communication, Arithmetic, reasoning for the competitive examinations. A regular Campus
Recruitment Training (CRT) has been organized for the students before the placement
drives. Many of the students who are passed out from this institution are settled in
abroad such as US, Canada, Australia, Saudi countries etc., many students are in premier
software industries like TCS, Infosys, HCL, Accenture, Cap Gemini, Tech Mahindra etc.,
Many are settelled in core companies Like Asian Paints, TATA motors, TVS Suzuki,
Effetronics, John son & John son lifts, Pfizer, power plants etc.

research. College have a good library with enough number of text books, motivational
books, Journals and magazines. The entire campus is provide with Wi-Fi. A special care
with study hours & other activities designed for weaker & average students. Many faculty
are available within the campus to assist the students beyond the working hours. Central
Computing facility for all the students.
In addition to curricular activities, St.
Theressa Engineering college gives equal importance to co & extracurricular activities
also, to make the students responsible citizens. Our students got medals in the sports &
games at University, state & national levels. Our students shows best performance in
wrestling every year, and we have medals at national level. Every year students are
acitvily participating in the NSS activities such as awareness camps on social security,
